Many companies in the U.S. require you to have a four-year degree to be eligible for a job, but for insurance agency jobs, you can start off as a sales agent as long as you have a high school diploma or the equivalent.
While working in insurance, you’ll receive on-the-job training. You don’t need any prior experience. All you need is enthusiasm and a will to succeed. Thus, with experience and hard work, you can climb up the ladder to become an accomplished insurance agent.
